As you imagine when you start an article with a title like that, it is nothing positive. I hate to put the blame on referees, but when your coaching staff and even your physiothérapeute mentioned that it have been the worst handball game they ever been a part of, that tell a lot. The referees were from Uruguay and were not sanctionned by the PATHF, but they did the game anyway and they seem to be bias calling several two minutes and travels that seem quite unfair. Therefore, in this unequal game, the ladies lost a tough and tight match to Puerto Rico 23-25. Audrey Delage-Royle scored 7 goals and Emilie Fournier despite an ankle injury earlier in the tournament scored 5 goals. Everybody is very frustrated but they will have to regroup and face Mexico for the 7th place.
