Direction - Argentina

The Junior Women National Team is leaving today (March 7th) for Argentina to play in the Junior Women Pan American Championship.

 

The draw of the groups was held March 3 rd by the Vice-President of Competitions of the PATHF in Cuba . Canada is in Group A, with the hosting country Argentina , Mexico and Chile . Group B will be composed of Brazil , Puerto Rico , Uruguay and Greenland .

 

The coaches ( Nathalie Brochu -Head Coach and Michael Nahmiash – Assistant-Coach) were pleased by the draw. “We are in a good group, even thought Argentina is the clear favorite of the group, we believe we have a chance against Mexico and Chile . It is not going to be easy, but finishing 2 nd in the group and win a shot to qualify for the World Championship is reachable”, mentioned Coach Brochu. Since the Junior Women World Championship will be in Brazil , two other countries from the PATHF should get a ticket for the Worlds. Therefore the last ticket for the Worlds might be the bronze medal game. The team is composed by:
